1979 Ford F250 4X4 Metallic Gray VIN: F26SLEJ1735 Lift and propulsion. Two of the elements necessary for flight, right? This truck will never be able to soar through the sky but it has plenty of lift and a whole lot of propulsion. The cab and front clip are basic 1979 genuine Ford pickup stuff; the bed is a custom adaptation of a later model bed. It sits on F350 suspension and 33" tires and is powered by a high compression 400 c.i. motor (ahhh!..there's the propulsion, huh?) that has been modified for performance and for looks. As if it is not enough of an attention-getting device when it is sitting still, it really rumbles when it is running. It looks good AND it sounds good. It is a little bit of a climb to get into the driver's seat but the view from up there is great. Bump the key and it rumbles to life. Pop it into gear and of you go. It's worth the climb.
