A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US Midway Auto Sales & Classic Cars, Inc. is a small, family owned and operated business in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Incorporated in 2002, We are in our fifteenth year of business and our ninth (2006) in this location. The business is owned by a husband and wife, both transplanted Yankees (him from Chicago, IL and her from upstate NY) that met and married here and have made this part of Arkansas their home for many years. With a little help from family and friends, we have attained a certain amount of local notoriety and a faithful gathering of customers and browsers that come by from time to time to see what's new. We sell neat old cars intended for driving and showing off. We believe these old cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed, shown off to friends and neighbors, and cared for with respect and admiration; even tinkered with to bring out just one more sparkle or to enhance performance even ever-so-slightly. They should be fun, relaxing and satisfying (there's nothing like the attention you get driving around in a cool old car, is there?). We try to represent our cars fairly-pointing out weaknesses as well as strengths. We pass along what we know about our cars, documentation when we have it and the story as it has been told to us. If we don't know, we tell you so and will offer more photos and information to help you make an informed decision about a potential purchase. We have never knowingly misled a customer to make a sale. We are not able to provide the shipping/transportation of our vehicles (this helps keep the prices down). We leave those arrangements to the customer--leaving you in control of who handles your vehicle and how they do it. We can, however provide you with names and numbers of several transport companies for you to compare rates and accommodations, if you desire assistance in this area. We have had customers fly into the area and drive their purchase home (once to Massachusetts and another time a customer drove from here to California to have his vehicle shipped home to Hawaii!) and have helped load many onto and into trailers. We accept payment in US dollars only. Cashier's check is preferred; personal checks will be accepted but will slow the transfer of ownership somewhat to allow the check to clear. We do not offer financing; some banks are becoming more inclined to make loans on these types of vehicles and there are finance companies that specialize in the classic and collector financing (many of these advertise in printed publications and on other sites on the World Wide Web).

We provide all the necessary paperwork in accordance with Arkansas law and the federal laws that apply. Different states have different laws governing the transfer of vehicle tags and titling. If your local laws require anything additional, we will do what we can to see that the transfer goes smoothly. Anything else you'd like to know? Just ask.
